Oh I just do love the poppies! I’ve only started to see a few popping up. I went to an exhibit at the Huntington on Friday dedicated to California natives and wildflowers, and some of the poppy prints were totally my favorite. This made me smile just seeing the photos.

Yes, a few poppies seem to be showing up here and there. These ones were closed up due to the rainy day. I love them!
This is a beautiful flower. We can grow them here as an annual, something I keep meaning to do.
They grow wild all over the place here, but I have trouble growing them in my yard.
