Great shots. Backlit webs are always a winner, and early morning webs with dew are incomparable. If you’re really intent on taking a web shot, bring a spray bottle of water and lightly mist a web. You won’t be doing it any harm, and you can get excellent effects.
Thanks for the tips! These webs were backlit, and it was early morning. I haven’t actually gone out looking for webs to photograph, so I may skip carrying along the spray bottle, but I’m sure that advice will come in handy the next time I spot a good web in our backyard. Thanks again!
Thanks! I keep trying to capture the images of the spider webs I see (everywhere!), but haven’t been successful. I’m pretty happy with how these came out.
Great shots Linda!! I sometimes have trouble capturing spiderwebs vividly on photos.
Thanks! I was fortunate to come across these shining in the sun with a wonderful shaded background.
Gorgeous photos! I adore the beauty of spiderwebs. Thanks for sharing
Thank you, and you’re welcome!

I am so impressed. I’ve tried…and failed to get the good results! Fantastic!
Thanks! I, too, have made many, many attempts at photographing spiderwebs. This may have been a fluke. I’ll keep trying!
Wonderful photos – it looks frosted. Is it? Or just the light?
I think it’s just the light, but it was pretty darned cold that morning!
