I love your site and have been following it. I recently nominated you for the Very Inspiring Blog Award! Receive your reward at: http://familymill.com/. Have wonderful day!
How gorgeous! The blue is an incredible backdrop, too. The last shot is particularly wonderful…do you ever try to blow up your photos and see how they hold up when sized larger? I have been wanting to experiment just to see if I can get something worthy of framing! These look so appealing, they’d be worth the try! Debra
I got lucky with the brightly painted fence located behind the garden! I haven’t tried to blow up any of the nature photos I’ve taken, so I have no idea how they would turn out. If you try it out, let me know!
They’re quick! I’ve been trying to catch a photo of one in our backyard for a few months, but haven’t been able to. They take rests on the branches of the oak tree in our back yard, but, yes, by the time I get the camera out, the bird will be long gone. Thanks!
Fantastic! How in the world did you catch him? So many times!
Do you know the name of that blue flower? I’d like to plant some to attract more hummingbirds.
The hummingbird LOVED that plant, but I have no idea what it is! Guess it had enough flowers on it to keep him there for a while. He flew around and around and around the flowers. I actually have many more photos that I didn’t include!
I miss checking out your blog… your favorite color must be royal blue
love this one ..
My favorite color is actually forest green, but I do love royal blue, too!

Lovely!
Thank you!
It’s rare that the hummingbirds come to my area in Chicago. But when they do everything stops so that I can enjoy the quick visit.
Special little birds, aren’t they?
Great shots…..they just won’t stay still for me……
Fantastic shots, so hard to get.
Thanks!
Hard shot to get! Well done! I managed to get one sitting down and i checked my camera settings and looked up and he had gone haha

Nice work! Photographing hummingbirds is not easy.
Thanks! I’ve been trying to capture a photo of one, unsuccessfully, for a while now.
