The baby scrub jay is leaving the nest more frequently, testing his wings… so cute. Every time the baby “screeches” for food, he puffs up and flaps his wings.

Thank you! I’d been trying to catch a photo of the baby jay for a few days, but he was always slightly hidden. Now he’s out in the open all the time, either sitting on a branch or on our fence.
